COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

Offering In-Office and Telehealth Sessions

Our waiting area is now open! Please come to the office around the time of your scheduled appointment. Feel free to have a seat and your counselor will be with you soon.

At this time, we do not require clients to wear a face covering.

If you are not feeling well, please call before your session. Having a telehealth session may be an option.

We encourage you to wash your hands or use hand sanitizer. Hand sanitizer is located in both waiting areas near the entrance to the suite.

Frequently touched surfaces are routinely disinfected. We also regularly open the windows to help circulate the air in the office.

Along the Path Counseling, P.C. has taken the Clean Hands, Open Doors Pledge. In addition to requiring face coverings, cleaning hands, sanitizing surfaces, and practicing social distancing, we have also promised to adhere to Public Health Guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control, the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Winnebago Health Department.  To find out more information about the pledge go here.

If you have been exposed to COVID-19 or are experiencing symptoms, we ask that you stay home. It is also recommend that you get tested. If you are feeling well enough to still have your counseling session, call the main number 815-397-4287 option 1 and ask to change your session to Telehealth.

Telehealth is an available option and we hope that it remains an option going forward. Being able to provide telehealth sessions has helped make counseling more accessible for many people. In addition, most insurance companies are now covering this service.
